Privacy Policy

This site is run by one person: Siarhei Rudak, a product engineer. This page explains, in plain words, what happens with your data here. The short version: I collect your email only if you give it to me, I use it only to send you my monthly letter, and I never sell it.

What I collect

• Your email address — only when you type it into the signup form and press the button.
• A record of your confirmation — when you click the link in the confirmation email.
• Emails you send me — if you write to info@rudax.pro, I keep the conversation so I can reply.
• Server logs — like almost every website, the hosting provider records technical data about visits (such as your IP address) to keep the site running and secure.

That’s all. No hidden tracking, no profiles, no data bought from anyone.

Why I collect it

To send you one letter a month, because you asked for it. To reply when you write to me. To keep the site online and secure.

Who processes it

I don’t run my own servers. These services handle data on my behalf:

• EmailOctopus (emailoctopus.com) — the email platform: stores subscriber emails and sends the letters as a data processor. A UK company; its infrastructure runs on AWS.
• Vercel (vercel.com) — hosting: serves the site and keeps server logs (including IP addresses) as a data processor.
• Plausible (plausible.io) — analytics: aggregated, anonymous visit counts; no cookies, no personal data; processed in the EU.
• My email provider — stores the correspondence you send to info@rudax.pro so I can reply.

I don’t sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers, and there are no ads on this site. Beyond these services (and their own infrastructure providers), nobody gets your data — unless the law compels me.

Double opt-in: no email without your confirmation

When you sign up, you get one confirmation email first. If you don’t click the link, you are not subscribed and you will not get the letters.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe any time. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; I stop emailing you immediately.
• Ask what I hold. Write to info@rudax.pro and I’ll tell you exactly what data I have about you.
• Ask for deletion. Write to info@rudax.pro and I remove your data from my systems and ask EmailOctopus to do the same.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. For visitor statistics I use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, EU-based tool: no cookies, no personal identifiers, no tracking across the web. It only counts aggregated page views, referrers, countries and devices. I can never see who you are, and the data never leaves EU servers.

Changes

If anything here changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
